Hatley shouldn’t be anywhere near the Governor’s office with his bank fraud, forgery, theft, larceny, and more state and federal charges.
  • From 1998-1999, Hatley was arrested and charged in Tennessee, Virginia and federal courts with bank fraud, forgery, theft, larceny, deceptive business practices, and being a fugitive from justice. Remotely accessible records indicate he was sentenced to 1 month in federal prison, 5 years of supervised release and was required to pay $37,958.13 in restitution.
  • Hatley has tried to downplay his criminal record by claiming he made a “mistake when I was a kid” and lost his voting rights. He did not get his voting rights restored until 2025. (WJHL, 8/13/26)
